FURIOUS guitars, a driving beat and spot on lyrics – Redditch singer-songwriter Danny Manic’s latest release takes a caustic look at the world today – yet somehow stays positive.
Called ‘Actions And Consequences’ it’s sure to win the Headless Cross musician an even greater following.
Now in his final year studying songwriting at university, Danny first picked up a guitar four years ago and found it a welcome way to express himself.
“I ended up speaking to loads of musicians, learning from them, until I got to where I was writing loads of stuff,” said Danny.
He cites American rock band Linkin Park as a major inspiration.
“Chester Bennington of Linkin Park is still a huge influence on me, although I have a guilty pleasure of listening to pop music,” he said.
