REDDITCH in conjunction with Redditch Borough Council are continuing to ‘roll out’ Smartwater in Webheath.
Smartwater is a traceable liquid and forensic asset marking system that is applied to items of value to help prevent crime and deter thieves.
They are holding an event on from 9am until 12noon on December 2 at The Village Hall, Heathfield Road to encourage more houses to register.
The police are aiming to register 70 per cent of addresses in the village, which then enables them to install We Don’t Buy Crime’ signage
If you do have a Webheath postcode and don’t already have Smartwater registered at your home address, then please come and collect your free kit from your local Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team.
