STUDENTS from Abbeywood and Church Hill RSA Academies were hitting all the high notes last week as they joined voices to sing together in a 8,000-strong choir.
Thirty youngsters from Years two to eight performed at Young Voices 2016 on Thursday (January 14) to a packed audience at the Genting Arena NEC Birmingham.
The event, which is the World’s Largest Children’ s Choir, has seen the Redditch youngsters learning material since the start of the academic year and perform a variety of songs from gospel to pop and classical.
In honour of the late David Bowie, an impromptu tribute of Life on Mars was also performed.
