Redditch to go back in time at Victorian Christmas Craft Fair

Redditch Editorial 8th Dec, 2023   0

PEOPLE can step back in time to the era of Queen Victoria this Sunday, December 10, when Forge Mill Needle Museum holds its traditional Christmas craft fair.

The 19th-century entertainment will take place between 11am and 3pm and there will be plenty for excited youngsters to get involved in, including Christmas crafts activities.

Adults can treat themselves to a glass of mulled wine and scour a variety of unique Christmas gifts for potential presents at the festive craft stalls.

Christmas music will fill the air and provide a feast for the ears with performances from the Alcester Victoria Silver Band and plenty of traditional carol singing.

The needle museum is also giving youngsters the chance to meet Father Christmas in his grotto at the craft fair.

Santa will also be holding a meet and greet morning at the museum between 10am and midday on Thursday, December 14, where youngsters will be able to create a decoration for the tree and complete a gingerbread man trail.
