A BLACK Tie Gala Evening will take place for Friends of Issac’s Food Bank this week (Friday, July 4) at Redditch United Football Club and there is a lot to look forward to, writes Lola Griffin.
Friends of Issac’s Food Bank was started five years ago by a then nine-year-old Issac.
The Community Interest Company (CIC) was established and continues to rely heavily on community donations.
Event Compere, Peter Bayley-Hill, as seen on BBC’s Dragon’s Den, will officially open the event at 7pm, sharing the programme of the evening and talking about the incredible progress the charity has made so far.
Guests will be invited to a delicious three course sit-down meal and YouTube sensation Cavan Booth will amaze guests with his sleight-of-hand magic.
The headline entertainment for the night will be international stage hypnotist Poldark who will wow the crowd with scenes of hypnotic style phenomena for scientific research and the powers of the mind.
He said: “As soon as I heard about Issac and his determination to bring such positivity to the community where he lives, I knew I wanted to be involved.”
Mr Bayley-Hill will then round up the evening with raffle draws, fun games and surprises to celebrate the work of the charity.
He said: “I’m honoured to be invited to host such a worthwhile event in my home town and look forward to what promises to be unique evening of magic and mystery.”
Issac’s mum, Claire, said: “We have wanted to host a larger even for some time and now with the support from the club, Peter, and The Poldark show, we feel its the right time to host a Gala Event and Issac is extremely excited about it.”
This event is only for adults aged 16 and over, though volunteers for hypnotism must be at least 18 and can leave at any time.
