REDDITCH residents are invited to a ‘Ready to Respond Day’ on behalf of Worcestershire County Council.
The council’s Emergency Planning Team will deliver the event on Saturday (April 16) which will advise participants how to become more prepared as individuals and communities, to cope with and recover from the minor emergencies and more serious events that life may throw at us.
Activities will run from 10am to 4pm with The Community Resilience Exhibition on show in Worcester City Guildhall and an Emergency Response Vehicle Display at Copenhagen Street Car Park.
Other attractions include a live rescue boat display on the river by Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, a children’s passport challenge and a Flood Aware Exhibition.
