A REDDITCH woman managed to raise £545 for charity Libby Mae’s Little Angels by hosting a cake sale at S E Davis & Son on Sandhills Farm.

Jenny Hughes, who is an ambassador for the charity said: “Libby Mae’s does a fantastic job at raising money for items for neonatal units in the Midlands.

“Those behind the charity, who are friends of mine, lost their daughter six years ago – Libby Mae – and since then they have done some incredible work.

“They put all their time and efforts into supporting newborns and their families in the area.”

Jenny’s mum, Joy, spent many hours including working through the night to make an excellent selection of pink themed cards that were also on sale during the day. These raised £90 towards the day for the charity. Jenny would like to thank her Mum too.
