THERE’S excellent ‘XPOSURE’ for the Redditch’s HoW College’s Hair and Beauty facilities next week as it plays host to a top brand’s regional hairdressing finals.
The Fusion salon at Peakman Street-based Heart of Worcestershire College will be opening its doors to young professionals from across the Midlands as they go head to head in the Wella Professional XPOSURE 2017 heats.
XPOSURE, launched in 2010, gives hairdressing students from across the UK the opportunity to compete to prove that they are a cut above the rest showcasing their skills and for many of them, giving a chance to take first steps on the competition ladder.
A Wella Professionals spokesperson, said: “Wella Professionals XPOSURE is a great platform for students to showcase their amazing talent in a head to head competition nationwide.
“We can’t wait to see the competitor’s work and the exciting awards presentation show featuring the inspirational Francesco Group Art Team.”
The regional heat will be held at HoW College’s Fusion Salon in Redditch on Wednesday (April 26).
The College itself has two state-of-the-art salons on-site, Fusion in Redditch and Fountains in Worcester, where students can gain work experience alongside their vocational course.
HoW College’s Hair and Beauty manager, Lesley Baker said: “We are delighted to have been approached to host the Regional Heat of Wella Professionals XPOSURE; it is a fantastic opportunity for us as a college to showcase our excellent facilities.
