Redditch Editorial 9th Dec, 2022   0

The PALACE Theatre panto promises to be the most stunning and enchanting of productions packed with magic and fun for all the family over the festive season.

Beauty and the Beast started its run on Monday 5th and finishes Sunday December 31st December.

The production will feature a brand-new song called Footprints in the Snow which has been incorporated into the storyline.

“Christmas songs are very much part of Pantoland and this being my 50th year in Pantomime, as a director of three shows this year, I am always looking for new material,” said Pete Dayson

“I came across Footprints in the Snow recently and upon hearing it on the radio and loving the instant commercial catchy tune and the lyrical message of bringing families together, especially at the time of year, I’ve decided to put it into this year’s production.

“Families will be leaving the theatre humming this unique seasonal festive song.”

Lee Brennan from 90’s boy band 911 will be taking the dual roles of The Count of Monty Don and The Beast in this year’s production.

Playing his Belle is Naomi Wilkinson, who is currently starring in the second series of the drama series Princess Mirror-Belle, a TV Adaptation of Julia Donaldson’s magical stories.

Simon Howe returns as Dame Cherie Trifle and from Britain’s Got Talent comedy impressionist Andrew Fleming takes the role of Philippe Philoppe.

Tickets are available now in person or at the box office on 01527 65203.
