Redditch’s Poppy Appeal 2018 was officially launched in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre on Saturday by Borough Mayor Councillor Juliet Brunner.
Joining her were staff from local store Roman, staff from the Kingfisher and Gerry Marsden, Poppy Appeal organiser for the Redditch branch of the Royal British Legion.
Gerry is appealing for more people to come forward and help sell poppies with all proceeds going to help the welfare of our soldiers and their families past and present.
Local businesses and individuals can also play a larger part by sponsoring giant £10 poppies which the Legion is hoping can be put up around the town centre.
Call Gerry on 07534 024399 for more information.
