STUDLEY Local History Group is looking to set up a team of researchers to make records more accessible and useable for members.
Member Karen Cording said: “It’s amazing that so many documents have survived to tell us about life in and around Studley in earlier times.
“The most fragile and vulnerable of these are being digitised, from our own archives and at Warwick Records Office.
“Your help is needed to make these searchable and useable, enabling analysis and research.
“Guidance and support will be available to any member who wants to get involved.”
To find out more, pop along to their next meeting on Tuesday, August 21 at 8.15pm at the Parish Centre in Needle Close where as well as listening to their annual general meeting visitors can join in a Studley Local History and Trivia Picture Quiz.
Entrance fee for members is £2 or £3 for guests, light refreshments will be available as will the latest edition of the Studley Historian.
