RESIDENTS at St David’s House enjoyed a ‘global tea party’ on Wednesday as part of Nutrition and Hydration Week.
The event was organised by Redditch Borough Council’s St David’s House team, in a demonstration of its commitment to senior health care.
“It was a truly heartwarming event,” said Councillor Craig Warhurst, whose portfolio covers housing.
“Residents enjoyed chatting to each other while having a cuppa and a bite to eat. Batchley First School’s choir also put on fantastic performances and got everyone up on their feet and singing along.”
National Nutrition and Hydration Week started on Monday, March 11 and finishes today, Friday, March 15.
