TWO arson attacks took place in a woodland area in Redditch earlier this week.
A fire crew was called out to Southcrest Gardens to attend a woodland fire at 5pm on Tuesday, March 26, before being called out again just an hour later to attend a similar incident in the same location.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire Service said: “No one was injured in either incident.
“Buckets of water and back packs were used to put out the fire.”
Southcrest resident Susan Court said: “The fire brigade came out, put out the fire and then had to return to attend an even bigger fire shortly after.
“It needs to be highlighted how dangerous this is.
“With any luck the people responsible will be caught next time.”
