RESIDENTS are being urged to have their say on crime and other issues in their local area when officers from Redditch Police Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) hold a number of surgeries throughout the month.
People have been asking to speak to officers at the new temporary police station in the Kingfisher Centre but a lot of the time, they are out on jobs or patrol.
So the police thought it would be good to make officers available between 11am and 1pm at Redditch Library on a number of days.
The next ones take place tomorrow (Tuesday, December 5, Saturday, December 9, Tuesday, December 12, and the following Tuesday, December 19.
The others will be on Saturdays – December 23 and 30.
Officers will also be at Webheath Village Hall, Heathfield Road, from 6pm to 7pm on Thursday, December 14.
Sgt Dave Roberts, from Redditch SNT said: “Please come along to these surgeries and meet our officers and PCSOs who will be happy to help advise you about crime and answer any concerns you may have about your policing matters in your community.
“They are a good opportunity for you to speak to us in person at your convenience in a dedicated timeframe and location designed to suit your needs.”
The Safer Neighbourhood Team is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving the community, including officers and PCSOs based in the area and supported by additional officers from the wider area.
