AN HISTORIC former needle factory in Redditch is on the market.
Gange Works, at 93 to 95 Bromsgrove Road, was historically used as a needle factory and brickworks, but has now been renovated by FINN Contracts to provide modern office and workshop space.
Adam Darby, a director at FINN Contracts, based in Kidderminster, said they bought the property through John Truslove last year and were now marketing it for us as a leasehold commercial site.
“This Victorian building is very much part of the industrial history of Redditch.
“It is a great example of some of the quality fit-out and renovation work we provide, and we think it will prove very attractive to a new business.”
He added the firm had worked with Ben Truslove, joint managing director at John Truslove, on various projects over the decade.
“They are very knowledgeable about the local market and were a clear choice when it came to marketing this property.”
Grange Works is a fully refurbished, detached property over two storeys, with first floor offices and further office and space and a workshop or storage area on the ground floor.
The 1,850sq ft property is on a triangular site of just under half an acre, with a large, securely fenced and gated car park and yard area.
Ben Truslove said: “Adam and the FINN Contracts team have done an excellent job refurbishing and redecorating the Grange Works and turning it into a highly attractive property.
“As landlords, they will consider splitting the property and letting the ground floor space only with a portion of the car park.
“We believe a quality commercial site like this will secure tenants very quickly indeed.”
