LAST week we announced the finalists in the O to 18-month category of the 2023 Redditch Standard Baby of the Year competition.
Now it is the turn of the 19-month to three-year section – the ten with the most votes following last month’s online poll made the shortlist, along with ten selected by our judging panel.
A staggering 250 people took their children to the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in April where their pictures were taken by professional portrait photographer Andrea Powell.
The parents and guardians could then choose that all important photograph they want entered into the contest.
The youngest entrant this year was just five days old before they went before the camera.
Here are the 20 finalists –
Prizes will be awarded for winners and runners up – a 20”x16” canvas print and Jellycat toy for first place and a 12”x10” canvas and Jellycat toy for the runner up.
Andrea has also been offering a selection of the prints to buy for as little as £12 but there is no obligation whatsoever to do so.
Now the two sets of 20 (in each age category) have been revealed, our judging panel will be busy in the coming days to decide which youngsters are crowned the winners and runners-up.
