A CASH reward of up to £1,000 is available from the independent group Crimestoppers if a culprit is arrested or charged, say West Mercia Police.
The reminder comes after a thug entered the victim’s house, demanded money from her before dragging her by her hair and punching and kicking her.
The incident happened at a house in Salters Lane, Redditch at around 4pm on Sunday, August 5.
The man then left on foot with some cash and jewellery along Salters Lane towards Foxlydiate Crescent.
Shortly after the incident the victim went outside onto the lane to see if anyone could help her before calling the police.
The man is described as white with very pale skin, about 5′ 9″ tall, of slim build, with shoulder-length black hair and blemishes on his forehead.
He is believed to have been wearing a yellow football shirt and a ring resembling copper piping on one of his little fingers.
He is also believed to have a large brown circular piercing to the top of his left ear, several silver and glass stud piercings to the rim of his right ear and a distinctive black tattoo on his left forearm.
The victim, a woman in her 50s, suffered broken ribs and cuts to her head and lip.
She was treated in hospital for her injuries and was left shaken after the incident.
Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen either the suspect or the victim on Salters Lane.
