WE had a bad case of the gremlins with last week’s podcast with the files being lost somewhere between Redditch and Devon!
It was a huge shame too as we had as our special guest Brian Rich, President of Redditch Lions Club.
Lions International, as you might imagine, are a worldwide organisation.
They were set up more than 100 years ago by a Chicago businessman to do good works for others and to have fun too.
The local Redditch branch of the Lions has stayed true to that ethos as Brian will explain in the wayward podcast, which has made its way back to Redditch.
But just to whet your appetite, pause to think that they’re busy raising awareness of prostate cancer, the No1 cancer in men, they’re backing the Rory the Robot campaign at the Alexandra Hospital and boosting the funds of the BBC’s Children in Need drive.
Not only that but they are a wonderful bunch of lads and lassies who offer a great social side too right here in Redditch.
