REDDITCH’S very own Miss Birmingham, Rosie Thompson, is flying high after recently being awarded her wings.
The Brockhill beauty has been soaring to new heights since June 25 as a member of British Airways Cabin Crew, based at Gatwick.
“So far it has been amazing,” she said. “ I have had the opportunity to experience some of the most fantastic countries in the world including Bermuda and Barbados.”
As part of her Miss England campaign, Rosie has been fund-raising for Beauty with a Purpose, a charity which supports disadvantaged children.
The beauty queen has organised a Band Night to be held next Friday (July 31) at the Golden Cross at 7.30pm, where local bands such as Detective will be playing.
Tickets, priced at £2, will be available on the door.
