STAFF at the Alexandra Hospital have been boosted by the support of Redditch Kingfisher Rotary.

Teaming up with Redditch-based ethical beauty lotions and soaps manufacturer Baylis and Harding they were able to deliver 384 bottles of hand cream and 132 bottles of hand wash to the Staff Well-Being Shop at the Alex last week.

“The personal wellbeing of these amazing people was of key concern to members and they looked to see how they could make a difference,” said Amanda Watkins of Kingfisher Rotary.

“Connecting to the Alexandra Hospital through the Worcestershire Acute NHS Hospitals Charity confirmed that personal care items have been at a premium and we took up the challenge to help track down some much needed supplies.”

Club President Liz Webber added: “The combined strength of our volunteers giving their time and our connections with a local business that wanted to step forward to support the cause, meant we were able to organise this gift in record time!

“Baylis and Harding were wonderfully supportive and great to work with.”

The Rotarians have also been out and about supporting the local neighbourhood groups as part of their work within the community.
