ANIMAL charity the RSPCA has revealed that it helped more than 3.6million animals during the past decade.
This week is RSPCA Week and as the charity raises awareness about the work it does to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals, it has revealed figures outlining the scale of the work it does.
In 2016 the RSPCA rescued more than 8000 dogs, 30,000 cats, 3,000 rabbits and taken more than 970 horses into its care. It also admitted 17,200 wild animals to wildlife centres and micro-chipped 59,597 pets.
