SMALL grants are being made available by Stratford District Council to assist small shops, particularly in rural villages.
The scheme aims to give a helping hand to local shops and businesses by providing a one off grant of up to £500 towards the cost of purchases that can enhance or promote the business. Eligible purchases can include anything from a new till to printing promotional flyers.
The scheme is open to applications from shops and businesses within the district, with the exception of the Market Towns.
Priority will be given to applications from smaller rural locations that have not had the benefit of previous funding schemes and initiatives.
More information is available at http://www.smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com and an application form can be downloaded from http://www.Stratford.gov.uk/shopfrontgrant
Deadline for receipt of applications is Friday (November 18) 2016.
