IT WAS cheers all round at Sainsbury’s this week as it handed over a bumper cheque to local charity Redditch Nightstop.
Redditch Nightstop was the good cause chosen last year by the supermarket giant’s customers and they backed it to the hilt, raising an incredible £7,708.72 for the charity which works to prevent local youngsters from becoming homeless.
This year customers have voted to support Charlotte and Craig’s Saving Hearts Foundation.
Tim Smedley, manager at Sainsbury’s Redditch, said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to our customers and colleagues who throughout the year have raised an amazing amount for Redditch Nightstop.”
“This will be a massive support to the charity in its continuing important work surrounding youth homelessness.”
