While the main roads in Redditch are open to single lane traffic many of the side roads are packed with snow and driving is dangerous.
During a trip round the town editor Ross Crawford came across more than a few abandoned vehicles, some of which had sustained crash damage.
Better by far to grab a sledge and head for a nearby park, build a snowman (or snowwoman) in the garden or just have some fun in with a snowball or two.
Don’t forget to look out for the welfare of elderly relatives or neighbours, and go out well wrapped up.
