SHOPPERS are being asked to make a difference to someone’s Christmas today, Saturday and Sunday, November 21/22/23, by making a donation of food to Redditch Foodbank.
Volunteers from the town centre-based foodbank are at Tesco Extra in Coldfield Drive hoping generous shoppers will buy something extra for those struggling to put food on the table this festive season.
The foodbank, which is run by Redditch charity Acts of Kindness, has seen a 43 per cent increase in demand this year and manager Laura Kyte says she sees no sign of it getting any easier.
