AN appeal has been launched for families to host French students spending just under a fortnight in Redditch.
A group of around 30 youngsters, aged 16 to 18, will be in the town from July 11-24.
They’ll be having English lessons in the morning and doing activities in the afternoon so hosts would only have to be on hand in the evening, first thing in the morning and at the weekend.
The trip has been organised by Redditch resident and French national Celine Dommart who said: “This is the third time we’ve run this event and last year we had a great bunch of youngsters who came across.
“It’s also an opportunity to build on the entente cordiale between our two countries and open up people’s minds to a new culture.”
