A MUSIC group has raised £2,548 for the Primrose Hospice after performing at venues in Bromsgrove, Redditch, Droitwich and Evesham.
The Singalongs have received a certificate of appreciation from the charity for raising such a fantastic amont.
The small group of friends enjoy singing together and taking centre stage in care homes, sheltered housing developments, churches, at WI meetings and at various clubs and associations.
They got their name as, during performances, they always encourage audiences to ‘sing along’.
Helen Eyre from the group said: “We change our programme several times a year so it is always a little bit different.
“We raise money for the hospice by asking for a donation and all the funds received go directly to the cause.”
