A LUXURY housing scheme has been earmarked for the village of Feckenham.
Following a six-figure land deal put together by property agents John Truslove, Lockley Homes is set to build six high quality homes on a 0.73-acre site at The Paddocks, Astwood Lane.
It will comprise two two-bed bungalows, two three-bed semi-detached, and two four-bed detached.
Lockley Homes owner Karl Lockley said a start was expected in 3-4 months, with completion scheduled for the autumn.
Up to 15 sub-contractors will be on site at any one time.
He commented: “These will be quality properties – an exclusive development in what is a highly desirable village, steeped in history.
“Feckenham is a very sought-after rural community with a traditional village green, shop, two pubs, an abundance of walking and riding routes, and a cricket club, as well as outstanding local schooling.”
Lockley Homes specialises in small, high end, bespoke projects – recent sites have been in the Worcestershire villages of Drakes Broughton and Great Witley.
Ben Truslove, a director of John Truslove, said: “The opportunity to acquire such an excellent site as this in Feckenham attracted a number of interested parties.
“We achieved the vendor’s asking price which was very pleasing.
“Lockley Homes is a respected local developer, renowned for its exacting standards and attention to detail. Beautiful homes amid gorgeous views across rolling countryside – what more could you want.”
