RESIDENTS in Webheath are being urged to collected their free SmartWater kit from the police Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT).
Each batch of the high-tech liquid has a unique DNA style code and can be used to reunite crime victims with property stolen from them.
It has also led to convictions when the individual liquid on stolen items is found on suspects.
The SmartWater is being paid for by the borough’s county councillors’ divisional funds and through a contribution from West Mercia’s Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion.
The kits will be available from The Village Hall Heathfield Road from 10am to 1pm on June 3.
