Smashing way for youngsters to get into tennis in Redditch and Alcester

Correspondent 13th Apr, 2018

WITH Wimbledon only a couple of months away, local children are being urged to get into the swing of tennis, writes Annie Davidson.

The Lawn Tennis Association has launched its Tennis for Kids programme for children aged from four to 11.

It costs £25 for six sessions and includes a kit, racket, balls and a personalised T-shirt to really make them feel part of the team.

Redditch Tennis Club in Batchley is taking part with sessions for youngsters aged four to eight year-olds and nine to 11 year-olds.

Joining them in the sessions is Alcester Tennis Club running similar courses for the same age groups.
