THE cold weather is still having an impact on some schools in the area, with one remaining closed today (Wednesday, December 13)
Pitcheroak School is closed to pupils due to health and safety reasons.
Tardebigge CE First School is open, but all children are asked to bring a packed lunch with them, and pick up is from 2.30pm.
St Georges CE First School is open, and St. George’s Road, Grange Road and Beoley Road are passable with care. However, Stevenson Avenue is still hazardous and parents and children are advised to take care.
Others schools in the area including Tenacres First School and the Beacon Primary PRU, have been open from 9.45am.
