ONE young lady is certainly staying positive in these trying times.
Lauren Mernagh from Church Hill has created the ‘Redditch positivity rock line’ stretching along the footpath to the Five Tunnels by the River Arrow.
Proud mum Dawn contacted the Redditch Standard when the uplifting painted rocks, stones and pebbles hit the 363 mark.
And the rock line they’ve created has become so popular it’s turned into something of a tourist attraction along the route.
“Please make some painted rocks and put them there for everyone to enjoy on the walks,” said Dawn, who has set up a Facebook page – Redditch positivity rock line – to encourage people to post photographs of the rocks.
And although there’s still a long way to go Lauren has even set her sights on matching if not breaking the world rock line record which stands at 8,000 stones.
We sent photograph Marcus Mingins out to track down the rock line and take some photographs of people enjoying the sight in the sunshine.
Here are his pictures.
