A COMMUNITY Christmas event in Sambourne on Sunday left villages feeling very festive and proud of their hometown.
With funding from Sambourne Parish Council, Sambourne Village Association and contributions from village residents, the Christmas tree and lights were unveiled on Sunday (December 3) for all to enjoy.
Erected by villagers and placed proudly on the village green, people came to watch as the twinkling lights were switched on alongside carols with the Coughton and Sambourne singers , mulled wine and mince pies.
