SPARKLING Redditch couple David and Judith Jackson celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary today.
The pair, who have lived in Redditch for the past 35 years and also in Studley, received a special celebratory card from King Charles III and enjoyed a romantic meal at the Washford Mill.
David and Judith met working for the Royal Enfield motorcycle company – she worked in the office and he in the cycle department.
They tied the knot in 1963 at St Mary’s Parish Church in Studley.
The couple have three children – Della, Teresa and Neil, three grandchildren – Scott, Eamon and Lucy and three great grandchildren – Freya, Jacob and Max.
Judith put their long and happy marriage down to ‘working together’.
David added: “There’s no ‘I’ or ‘me’ in our relationship, it’s always been ‘us’.”
