EXCITED children at Abbeywood First School in Church Hill welcomed a very special visitor to their school yesterday, Thursday, as they handed over more than £200 in coppers and change.
The youngsters all donned their finest, spottiest outfits to welcome Pudsey, who was visiting as part of his tour around the country with Children In Need.
Inspired by Pudsey’s work, as well as donating hundreds of pennies and coppers, each child paid a pound for the chance to wear a spotty non-uniform.
