REDDITCH-based Tamlite Lighting has been Highly Commended by judges at the prestigious Made in the Midlands Awards in the category of ‘Manufacturer of the Year – Over £25million’.
The ceremony, at the MacDonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham on May 2019, recognised companies that have made an outstanding contribution to the manufacturing sector as a whole, with a turnover of more than £25m and/or employing in excess of 250 people.
Tamlite was one of five companies shortlisted and was the only one to receive the judge’s ‘Highly Commended’ honour having ‘…demonstrated excellence, sales growth, increased exports and regional economic impact during the qualifying period (April 2018 – April 2019).’
The awards, which received a record number of entries for the second consecutive year, shine a spotlight on the Midlands region’s contribution to manufacturing excellence and innovation.
