THERE was a tasty treat in store at Christ Church, Matchborough, last Friday when local councillor Juliet Brunner and friends laid on a Christmas lunch for local senior citizens.
Santa Claus was on hand to give out presents while youngsters from the estate helped serve and entertain all the guests.
“There are many lonely people out there in our communities and we do hope those who came enjoyed some festive cheer,” said Coun Brunner
