THE FESTIVE season starts at St Leonard’s Church with an event to bring the whole community together and an opportunity for plenty of Christmas shopping.
St Leonard’s Christmas Fayre takes place between 11am and 3pm on Saturday 3, at Willow Trees Community Centre Church Hill.
There will be a wide range of exciting stalls selling home-made cakes and preserves, hand-made cards, Christmas decorations, toys and gifts.
Other stalls will include a tombola, children’s lucky dip, a Nativity-based photo booth and a Christmas puppet show.
As usual food and drink will be on offer throughout the day, including mulled wine and mince pies, and this year Father Christmas will be there all day too.
Entry is 50p for adults with a lucky programme prize, and children go free.
