LEADERS of a Redditch school are delighted with the outcome of their recent Ofsted inspection, which determined they ‘continued to be good’.
Governors and leaders of Woodfield Academy were pleased with the report from inspectors who visited on February 8, which praised their promotion of ‘ambition and self belief’.
Steve Bond, Headteacher, said: ‘This is a fabulous outcome and I am delighted. I am so grateful for the on-going efforts and contributions across our school community – and it hasn’t always been easy.
“It is great news for us, but also for middle schools, the three-tier system and, I hope, for Redditch. It means so much and I am particularly proud of the praise for our children in the report letter – they deserve it.”
The report letter acknowledged the academy’s efforts to improve learning and pupils’ welfare and noted ‘a culture where safeguarding is recognised as a top priority for staff and pupils’ is identified.
