STUDENTS from Stagecoach Performing Arts in Redditch travelled up to London to perform on the West End stage.
The 14 young performers, aged between 11 and 18 years old all from the town and the surrounding areas, rehearsed tirelessly to perfect their Michael Jackson inspired performance.
The musical medley, curated and directed Stagecoach Redditch teacher Cassie Rivett, featured sings from the West End Smash Hit MJ the Musical.
The performance was part of Stagecoach Live. The event brings together Stagecoach Schools and students from across the country, giving them the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform on a West End Stage in front of a packed house.
Stagecoach Redditch Principal Michelle Westwood said she was impressed with her student’s enthusiasm and dedication.
She said: “On the day the students represented Stagecoach Redditch with exemplary performance, behaviour and attitude.
“As their principal I was so proud to see them absolutely smash their performance on stage.
“And it’s been a joy to see the new friendships that have been created during the rehearsal process.
“They were a fantastic and supportive team.
“All the students and their families had a wonderful day and we have new memories that will last a lifetime.”
