TO show solidarity with the people of New Zealand, a Unity Gathering is to be held at Redditch Central Mosque this Friday, March 22 at 1.30pm.
“On behalf of the Muslim community we would like to invite people of all faiths and groups to join us at this vigil in solidarity and to honour and remember the victims in New Zealand,” said Rafa Hussain from Redditch Mosque.
“To send a clear message to all who wish to sow hatred that they have failed.”
Redditch Central Mosque – Masjid Noor is at the end of Jinnah Road in Redditch, B98 7ER.
Fifty people were killed and many more were wounded in last Friday’s gun attacks at two mosques in the New Zealand city of Christchurch.
