Studley and Alcester sports centres get set to re-open again

THE leisure centres in Alcester and Studley are preparing to reopen on Saturday, July 25 as lockdown restrictions ease further.

They’ll join the other district centres in Shipston, Southam andStratford – all operated by Everyone Active, in once again welcoming members of the public.

In the interim the necessary social distancing and extra cleaning and hygiene measures have been put in place to make the facilities Covid-19 safe for users and staff.

A number of social distancing measures are in place including ‘sneeze screens’, hand sanitisers and social distancing floor stickers.

Each centre will also be deep cleaned prior to reopening.

Ventilation levels to be maximised in all areas in line with guidance.

Meanwhile customers will be be asked to clean down equipment before and after each use.
