THE Moons Moat Conservation Group will be hosting a corporate event day for Studley-based pallet logistics experts La Palette Rouge Ltd on Friday, September 17.
Volunteers from LPR will be assisting the the conservation group in installing marker posts for the nature trail being created there as well as carrying out routine site maintenance tasks regularly undertaken by the group and its volunteers.
The day will be led by Peter Burton, the group’s resident expert on all nature and conservation matters.
Moons Moat is the site of a medieval moated manor house long before the town of Redditch developed.
Lying hidden in woodland between the houses of Church Hill and the units of Moons Moat, the conservation group aims to rescue it from the undergrowth and create a peaceful visitor attraction to the historic site.
