STUDLEY in Bloom ended the year on a high with a successful Christmas coffee and cake sale at the Co-op store in the village.
The tombola quickly sold out while the beverages flowed and the tasty treats were snapped up.
The raffle was also a tremendous success said chair Gill Liebthal, all helping to swell the coffers of the group as they look forward to the new year.
“We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout 2018 and the Co-op who once again have been absolutely brilliant,” said Gill.
However it has yet to be decided if the Bloomers will enter any competitions in the coming year.
Already multiple gold award winners in the Heart of England in Bloom competition and silver gilt holders in the Britain in Bloom Awards, the group will be meeting in February to decide whether or not they should go for it.
Either way, Studley can look forward to plenty of floral displays from spring through to autumn.
