STUDLEY Operatic Society are searching for a Prince to become part of their world.
The society, who will be performing Disney’s The Little Mermaid at The Palace Theatre next April, are in need of a male performer to join their cast as the charming Prince Eric.
Love interest for the shows leading lady Ariel, Eric needs a strong Bari-tenor voice with an ability for some minor dancing/movement and a playing age of 20-35.
Director of the show, Matt Bridgewater, said: “Prince Eric is the adventurous human monarch who captures Ariel’s heart. Charming and sensitive in nature, he has a warm voice and demeanor that evoke his flair for romance.
“There is also a stubborn side to the Prince, who is determined to do whatever it takes to get what he wants – including the girl with the mysterious voice. If you think you could bring the character of Eric to life, get in touch asap.”

Likewise, the society are also able to accept male performers of all ages, abilities and experience to join their chorus/ensemble as a variety of characters from sailors to jellyfish.
This production, suitable for audiences of all ages, featuring family favourites such as Part of your World and Under the Sea, will be more colourful than a coral reef and plenty of fun.
