STUDLEY Operatic Society is bringing ‘Young Frankenstein’ to Redditch’s Palace Theatre later this month.
The production from the company, which has previously staged Kinky Boots, 42nd Street, Spamalot and more, boasts an incredibly talented cast, stunning sets, animated backdrops, and show-stopping musical numbers.
The group says Young Frankenstein is a ‘must-see for theatregoers and comedy lovers alike’.
Based on the classic comedy film by Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder, Young Frankenstein tells the story of Dr Frederick Frankenstein, the grandson of the infamous Dr Victor Frankenstein.
Determined to distance himself from his family’s legacy, Frederick is inadvertently drawn back to Transylvania when he inherits his grandfather’s estate.
There, he discovers the secrets of reanimation and creates his own monster, setting off a chain of uproarious and hilarious events.

Shows run nightly from Tuesday April 23 to Saturday April 27, with a matinee on the Saturday.
