Studley pupils have designs on their dream home

MIDLANDS property builders Damson Homes have heralded the arrival of their latest housing development with a home design challenge for Studley Junior School children.

To celebrate the launch of Lakeside – a courtyard development of four, two to four bedroom barn-style homes – Damson Homes teamed up with St Mary’s C of E Academy in Studley to give pupils the chance to win more than £100 worth of Lego.

The firm also presented the school with a donation of £200 worth of sports and play equipment.

The competition challenged pupils to put pencil to paper and design their dream home. They were encouraged to let their imaginations run wild, and the results revealed some budding home designers of the future.

There were three Lego construction sets up for grabs and the prizes were awarded to Elliot Hyde (third prize), Hannah Davies (second prize) and Samuel Todd, whose clever design of a tree house complete with a central spiral staircase, pet room, and hot tub won the coveted star prize of a Lego City Firestation.
