NEWS that Redditch has improved connectivity to broadband has been welcomed by local MP Karen Lumley.
It comes after digital and culture minister Matthew Hancock MP, released figures showing that in Redditch constituency, superfast coverage, both funded by Government and delivered commercially, is currently 96.6 per cent (92 per cent nationally). This is estimated to be 97.7 per cent in Redditch by December 2017.
“This is great progress, but we recognise there is more to be done to deliver the connectivity Britain needs and consumers need,” said Mrs Lumley.
