Switch offer as council acts to cut energy bills for local residents

Redditch Editorial 8th Aug, 2021   0

A NEW reverse auction has been opened by Warwickshire County Council to help its residents save money on their energy bills.

So far householders have saved more than £1.7million on their gas and electricity bills in ten reverse auctions. It works by using the collective bargaining power of residents, increasing the competition among energy providers to secure better energy prices.

Once again the council is using iChoosr to negotiate with energy companies to secure the best prices for residents.

Residents can register with the scheme and be given a personalised offer showing how much they could be save by switching.

If the householder is happy with the deal they can then proceed and switch suppliers free of charge.

For more information call Act On Energy on 0800 988 2881 or iChoosr on 0800 048 8439.
