FOOD lovers will descend on Alcester this Saturday (May 17) for the annual celebration of flavour.

From gourmet grub to sublime street food, there will be a tempting array of treats on offer at the event, which will see the town centre come alive with colourful sights and smells.

Visitors can look forward to browsing more than 100 mouthwatering stalls with delectable delights including hot and cold street foods, various drinks including local favourite’s Hogan’s Cider and Purity ale, plus cheeses and jams, desserts and confectionery, to name but a few.

The town’s numerous cafes, pubs and shops will also be throwing their doors open and getting into the festival spirit.

The free event runs from 9am to 5pm and organisers recommend the use of the complimentary park and ride from the Mill Industrial Park. King’s Coughton on the A435.

There is also a limited amount of accessible parking in the town centre.
